365 days of photos

So I know I havent been on here in months...I dont know where the time has went but it sure was fun. Lots of thing have been going on and so much more to come.  Birthdays and my in laws anniversary and weddings all in one month..wow! I dont even want to think about next month.......

So what I really want to tell you about is yesterday I started to a thing called 365 days. I am dedicating myself in taking at least one photo a day. I am going to keep folder on my photography facebook page. I will try to post some on here as well. I am hopeing to get alot of this. I want to grow as a photographer and as an artist. This is going to be fun and I am looking forward to learning more about me.

So on Saturday I had the chance to photograph a wedding....my first one....not to sure if I really like doing them, but if givin the chance to do one again I will. I just wish it was outside I love nature light SSSSSOOOOO much better.

Oh and also added a dvd slideshow on the list of things you can order from me when I have taken your photos. It is $25.00 for the dvd with one song of your choice.

And remember I do offer gift certificates......fathers day is comming very soon.

Family of 5

I had a great shoot with a family of 5 this weekend. The littlest one was a very busy body. He was exploring everything and was loving it. This family was alot of fun to work with. I just want to thank them for picking me to capture a moment in their life.

Hello, again. I have been having fun the couple of weeks. I went and saw the space shuttle launch there are only two more left.I did take photos But I wished I had a longer lens.

I also have been going to the beach and pool alot lately. My boys are lil fish. One time we went and saw a sunset we were walking and found at least 10 starfish on the shore line. I will post one.

I also am getting ready for this weekend a photo shoot with a family. I am so blessed to be doing something I love to do and God has given me such a beautiful talent.

There are a few more shoots in the comming months that I am excited about and cant wait to do. Until then.

Mothers day

Happy Mothers day to all the mamas. Hope everyone enjoys thier day. I am very thankful to be called mama by three awesome, loud, crazy, loving smart boys. They all are special to me and I know I am to them. Take time to enjoy the moments you have with your chidren and/or your moms this weekend.

I have several photo shoots comming up and I am very excited and so blessed to be able to do what I love to do.

Girls Jamboree

I went with a friend and 4 lil girls to a girls jamboree this weekend. It like girls scouts but with church of God. There was mostly 500 girls there and we had fun. There was serveral contest we could have entered but we only did one this year (this was our first year going) We entered in the scrapbook contest. We won first place. We are so proud of our lil sweethearts. The other part that I loved was seeing about 30 to 40 girls gave thier hearts to the Lord yesterday. So touching to see young girls being sold out to Jesus.
I took my camera everywhere we went. Still going thru the photos but here is one of my favs.....enjoy.

new lens

WHOO HOO! My new lens came in yesterday. I have been taking photos of my lil boys trying to get a feel for it and I am loving it.

Oh and also I went shopping with a sista and found a cool trunk to hold my prop stuff  and also to use as a prop. I want to go back and look for more props now. There are a few things I have on my mind that I want to find. Wish me luck.

So I have been working on gift certificates and I now have them ready.

Sorry I have not been blogging this past month lots been going on. I do hope to get back on track.

I am ready for this new season in my life and my familes.

So my family and I went to Miami today to celebrate my sons 5th birthday. We were heading to the Seaquarium and got lost because of our GPS. It was an adventure which we always seem to have when we go on road trips. This time I got to catch a photo that I wouldnt of seen if we hadnt got turned around. So I am thankful for it now. Here is the photo I took. Its a painting on a wall and I love the look. I hope you do to.

Two photo shoots.

I had two photo shoots yesterday and they both went really well. I think Im starting to get more comfortable in what I do. I had a real good time with the people I photographed. Now comes the hard part for them to decide on which photograph they love. I know for me it was hard to pick my favorite out, lol.

Yeah

I just got my buissness card in today...Yeah! I am almost set.  Still trying to decide what website I want to do. I have a few in mind. I am so bad on trying to decide on which one. I keep going back and forth. I will hopfull have one by the end of the month if not, by the end of next month, lol.
